Donal Trump Issues Apology Statement After 2005 Video

Late Friday night, Donal Trump issued a video apology after his vulgar comments about women from a 2005 interview leaked. "I said it, it was wrong, and I apologize," Trump said in the minute-long video posted to his social media account.

"I've never said I'm a perfect person, nor pretended to be someone that I'm not. I've said and done things I regret, and the words released today on this more than a decade-old video are one of them," Trump added. "Anyone who knows me, know these words don't reflect who I am."

Trump's video apology came hours after the Republican nominee dismissed the footage as "locker room talk" and apologized only if anyone was offended by the comments. Both sides of the aisle were quick to admonish Trump for his remarks – which included the mogul bragging to Access Hollywood's Billy Bush that celebrities "can get away with anything" with women, even "grab them in the pussy" – with Hillary Clinton tweeting that what Trump said was "horrific."
